Do you need to know about child-tent?

Do you need to know about child-tent?

When you look for your first child tent for those magical back yard experiences, do a little research and shopping around to get the right tent and one that offers safe and enjoyable camping and play

1. A good quality child-tent are not cheap and it will cost you in the region of around $80 to $200 retail for a fairly basic 2 or 4 person tent

2. There are many sources to look for and find some good tent bargains. The best options including eBay are various Army and Navy stores, resale outdoor gear stores, some of the larger wholesale stores, and don’t forget the post season and rental sales

3. Keep it simple, the tent should be easy to set up. Look for a tent with minimal poles and preferably with no lines and stakes. Look for a tent that your child can assist in putting up or even better they can erect and pull down on their own or with their friends. Make it a learning experience.

5. Safety is paramount so choose a tent with aluminum poles. The tents with fiberglass poles and filled fiberglass poles are relatively light and tend to break with the rigors of children. Look at self pitching tents that have internally designed poles

6. Look at child-tent that has an outside vestibule or porch as this gives your child somewhere shaded to play in outside

7. Look at the ranges of summer tents and screen tents as they are relatively inexpensive and are very simple in design
